Second chassis plate

Post by rogersanger »

I finally got my 64 MM Traveller. It is great. Upon inspection, I found another chassis plate on the opposite side of bulkhead firewall as you look at the engine. The typical chassis plate was on the left side of the engine bulkhead firewall (See photo below) as you look in at the engine, but on the right side is a smaller (about quarter inch high by 4 inches long) screwed to the chassis with these number: Z34885 and 138608. I cant find anywhere in the literature or here what this plate is and what the numbers tell me. Thanks for all the help. Roger Sanger, Sun Valley, Id USA[frame]Image[/frame]

The other number is the body number used in manufacture, theres a guy here called POMMREG who can work them out as they are a bit of a mystery to everyone else!

Thanks. I understand now that this is a body plate and I have sent an email to Pommreg. I look forward to a reply. Roger
