Re-British(ing) my Morris

Post by Suzukimorris »

Hi, new to forums an that. Just thought I'd bosh up some picks of my slightly unusual Morris before I make it a bit more like everyone's else's again! Owned her for seven years, she came with a series 1000 in and a four speed box that within a month was like stirring a box of nails with a wooden spoon. Was cheaper to do the engine change I did then by a rebuilt Morris gearbox, I know that'll make some people mad but hey, I was 17 and needed to get to college everyday and bar work doesn't pay all that well. So this is my Suzuki Morris 1000 splitty but is going to become a very discretely tampered supercharged 1275 a+ series[frame]Image[/frame]

Ha ha yeah and good bye 45 mpg! And that was with a block in need of a rehone! Can't deny it's been anything but brilliant, damn reliant, easy to fix, bomb proof Japanese engines, not to mention getting me in classic and sports car magazine after a concourse at shelsley walsh! But in the back of mind I know I've devalued it and for some reason it being worth something has become important to me plus it is shocking at how many people actually have started arguing with me in the street about it not being a standard engine ha ha, what I do for an easy life! :D
