hi just got this off ebay I'm sure it's negative earth ,possibly from a Anglia or it's type ?
just being careful what is your opinion ? pos or neg?
also looking for a bulb holder to fit ,anybody got a spare for sale?[frame]

It's the same bulb holder as the other small Smiths gauges -- originals, taking screw-threaded bulbs, are (in my experience) difficult to find. You can get new holders that use BA9S bulbs here:

Oh dear.... I just use the little clock on my wrist if I need the time... Pretty sure it will be +ve earth.

It does look horribly Fordish......possibly a Classic something like that. And at that age - +ve earth. Clean up the back carefully - it may be marked - but in these days there was no need - since all were +ve earth.

For information , there is currently a similar looking clock on ebay . The seller states it is negative earth . I did a search on ' smiths car clock ' Hope that helps .
