I don't think so unless you have very good carpentry skills.
It looks pretty rough to be honest but if the underneath is sound could be fine for a rolling restoration.
£1,470.00 with 5 days left to run suggests it will end up being a money pit.

Reading through it says 'all welding done' (although to what standard is unknown) but then reading on you see his comment about the exorbitant prices commanded by restored ones these days.
Does make me wonder what fantasy land reserve he's put this 'rolling restoration'......................

I do not know the car, but looking at the photos I would budget for 4 x wings, full set of wood and fittings, carpets, and some trim. That's without looking at the doors, "chassis" mechanicals, and spraying. OK, the carpets and 1 steel wing are included, but to bring this car up to a good standard, I think that you are looking at three to four thousand pounds on top of the purchase cost (assuming being done professionally to "good" as opposed to "concours" standard). Yes, cars like this will go on for ages before most of the work must be done, but from what I know of what you're looking for, I think that some of the other cars that have been under "for sale" and in Minor Matters would have been a much better fit. The caveat is, of course, that it's impossible to really judge from photos, and it might be much better than it looks. However, the reason that fully retored Travellers are asking £6K plus is that they cost £9K to do, and people will not pay that figure.

Good the see that you are still looking, the right car will come along soon.

Bidding is now up to £1800 with two days left to run (the reserve has now been passed).
It would be interesting to hear from the eventual buyer, to see if it was worth the money or just another potential money pit. Hopefully they will join the club and let us know.
