Hi, when cleaning the engine compartment today, I discovered a loose blue wire coming from the driver side of the bulkhead and just below the Regulator Box, which is where it might have worked loose from.
Please can some one help me identify where/what this wire/lead is supposed to attach to?
Also, does anyone know an Idiot-proof sure-fire way to match the correct HT lead to the corect spark plug?
Thanks everyone.

The firing order on the minor is 1342( check in your handbook or find it embossed on the exhaust manifold, I think i'm right though) the rotor arm goes anti-clockwise so as it passes each contact ( in the distributor cap) the HT lead connected to each contact goes to the plugs in that order. As for the blue wire, sounds like some additional fitment as the only blue wire as standard goes from the light switch to the dip switch.

blue wire
SLOOP....There is a blue wire connected to the control box..BUT
it is BROWN and BLUE???? Just in case, it connects to the A1
terminal. When you have sorted your ignition leads out try
cutting them to suitable lengths according to where they go. You
will not be able to fit them wrongly from then on. Looks nice and
neat too.
