Supplier of Chromed Screws?

Post by Coalmossian »

Currently restoring '60 Traveller and afterwards ( hopefully!) my '49 Lowlight. As I have just restored the glovebox lids for my Traveller ( the mid-range ones with the flattish fascias and the vinyl covered infil) I am looking to replace the nice chromed edgings onto the lids, but my screws are pretty scabby. They are tiny wee things about 9 mm long and with a flat, slotted, countersunk head. Any bright ideas as to where I my obtain some? Indeed, chromed screws in general, as they are used quite a bit in the interior and for holding the rear door glass retaining bars in!
And please, does anyone have a nice example of the passenger glovebox lid sliding lid retaining thing (I'm sure it has a more propererer name than that, but my addled old brain can't think what it is!)[frame]Image[/frame]

They also sell via ebay see http://stores.ebay.co.uk/spalding-nut-a ... 7675.l2563
