Old signs
I was just wondering if any of you old sods were into collecting enamel signs. I started by accident after helping a buddy to clear out an old garage which he was going to use as a storage warehouse for his freight company. There were a couple of enamel signs there, one is the Mobil oil, and from there I just sort of accumulated them. The one of interest to you guys is the Morris sign (natch) which was given to me by a friend who was moving house and wanted to relieve himself of unnecessary clutter. So I got the sign and his welding gear as well, thanks Tony. The latest aquisition is the Cyclists Touring Club sign being that I am a member and a keen cyclist, but don't hold that against me please. The sign is mint. Oh and the Morris sign is'nt for sale.[frame]

Re: Old signs
Nice little collection. I have a metal Michelin map of the UK which i rescued from a service station i worked at about 25 years ago. It's been languishing in various sheds and stores over the years and has only just been put up in a garage now that I have moved.

Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

Re: Old signs
I have inherited the same Morris enamel sign as you have in the centre of your photo, how much do you think it's worth, and where is the best place to sell it, so it goes into good hands?!

Re: Old signs
Put it on ebay with lots of photos and as much info as possible about it. They are highly collectable.
