Starter Motor to Solenoid Cable

Post by Mr Morris »

Hello everyone,
I'm replacing this cable because mine has been patched up such a lot it's more or less all black insulating tape now, it's incredibly fraid and starting to show the bare wires through too.

I found a lead with a spade on each end but the one I have now has an angled spade on the end that connects to the starter motor like a right angle shape and looks very tidy. Do you know if I can buy one of these angled spades anywhere as all the new stuff is straight?
Many thanks!

Just bend the new one in a vice! But why won't the straight one do the job??

Yeh I could do that, this one is quite a lot longer and looks nice. A straight one will do, it just looks good being a tight "corner" fit at the moment - probably being fussy
