2013 MMOC National Rally
Has any info on this years National Rally been released yet? Dates..venue, etc.
Re: 2013 MMOC National Rally
It's not the usual 'national rally', the event is being held in conjunction with the International Morris Centenary event so quite a few other Morris car clubs are also taking part. It's on 15th & 16th June at Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire. Details are here: http://morriscentenary.org.uk/

Thanks very much for that. I'm guessing that I'll have wait to nearer the time to book a place for the judging of the vehicles and entrance ticket ? (I have a restored '68 Minor van that I'd like to see inspected)
Re: 2013 MMOC National Rally
If you're a club member an entry form will be issued with Minor Matters magazine. A downloadable version will probably also be available from this site too. Not sure exactly when, but it should be quite soon so keep checking back here (and welcome to the messageboard!)

As this is a mixed club event on a large scale there will be no judging taking place, as was the case with the 50th & 60th anniversary rallies.

Don't be too disappointed, there are plenty of other rallies where someone is willing to grovel under your car looking for a rusty bolt. Not my scene though.

Re: 2013 MMOC National Rally
Morris cars were never concourse when they left the factory they were just cars off the production line. They may have been after the pre-delivery inspection and rectification of faults by the mechanic at the dealership garage. When I worked at a BMC garage in the 1960's many hours would be spent cleaning and preparing the car and carrying out final adjustments before the customer took ownership.
