hi when i remove the base plate that set point plates of diz ,for servis - i see the base plate spring that two plete set together - that spring has rub some where and i see rubing mark of spring-so i put some oill - the spring will break ?

Sandun - I guess you mean the return spring for the vacuum advance? It would always help us to help you if you added a picture each time you have a problem! That spring will be fine - and a little oil is good.

sorry not vacum spring- but it is help - we know when the vacum work the plate rotate - the rotate plate no esy move bz the spring that i say , give some presher to the rotate plate - there are two plates one of them set to the diz other one rotate - between two plates, set this spring that i say - it is not like vacum spring , it like as a small spring plate - the spring plate control the esy moving of the rotate plate

Picture?? Do you mean the little 'finger' spring that steadies the moving plate on the fixed plate??

The rubbing you see is probably the mark left by this flat spring as the plate turns. It's ok. A little oil or grease perhaps.

It's there to make sure there is electrical continuity - but it seems to work ok with some oil/grease around.
