Original picture GPO Van

For those who might like to see an Original picture of yellow GPO Van, I know it is not the best quality, but thought it might be of "some" use to anyone interested in vans.
Emailed to me today by a mate who worked in Liverpool telephone area in the 70's.
I will ask if he has any more, unfortunately all mine bar one are when we had the Bedford HA vans

Great Pic, think that's one of Jim Murphys restorations. The van appeared in an episode of Heartbeat.
It was quite bad whan found, Jim did a great job !

Dear all
After several comments re the above photo I contacted my mate and discovered I was wrong in the assumption that this was one of his own photos.
He was always had his camera with him at work and like me fixed phones in a patch that included the Birkenhead dock area so I just assumed it was his as it came with the following message

Quote Hi Reg - meant to send the attached pic ages ago, may bring back some memories for you - including busted half shafts haha
PC : ))) Unquote

It transpires he found the picture on the internet, so I have no idea of its authenticity.
(The reference to the half shafts is another embarrassing story)

I know where there is a Telephone Bedford HA for sale. You don't see to many of them around these days !
