Uneven tick over and horn problem
I am a club member and live in Coventry I was hoping to meet someone local who could help with my problems, I would be very grateful for any help given, Gary
Re: Uneven tick over and horn problem
Best plan is to tell us about the tick-over problem in 'mechanical' section, and the horn problem in electrical! Tell us when the problems started - any other relevant information...

Re: Uneven tick over and horn problem
Sorry for delay, the tick over seems fine for 5 miles or so then seems to be slow on pick up and at junctions I need to give it a little throttle while in neutral or we get chuggingbmcecosse wrote:Well - it's been moved, but we do need more information. Was it ok yesterday??

Lift the idle speed slightly - then adjust the mixture to give a nice smooth idle.
