Blimey , and I thought being sold pants wipers was bad ,
I would have a veritable fit on a stick .
My trucks also been back on the road for nearly a year now , and the only time its let me down was when it snapped a half shaft.
Whats the biggest thing youve put in the back ?
( kawasaki Z 650 , or a large three seeter sofa )
Keep on trucking

So that is nearly a year that I haven't seen you driving about even though we are only about 6 miles away!
As for stuff in the back, my old Pick up used to come in handy for moving the hay! [frame]Image[/frame]

How cool is that , you definately win on volume , I put so much decking on once , which was hanging over the cab , The journey from A~B was pretty much flat but the last 100 yards was down hill and all of a sudden the sump started grinding .

That pick up looks like a minature version, dwarfed by that huge haystack, the bloke loading also seems to dwarf the pick up

I the wheels are indeed 100mm pcd you MUST take them right back and DEMAND correct wheels. This is an incredibly dangerous situation.....

Most likely the Minor parts supplier was given the wrong parts by the manufacturer/stockist and are innocent in anything other than being in the supply chain.
This could happen to any supplier but this particular mistake is potentially lethal, and I would also have a fit.

Hopefully you get a satisfactory response from the supplier - if not, then please do put all details in writing to the club.

I hope you get a reasonable response from supplier now that they're informed.
In line with T&C's I had to remove their name from your post - I know it wasn't their "full name" but plenty of people on the forum could have guessed the missing letters.

Using 4 x 100 gives you options for wheels matching a LOT of Japanese & some Euro cars, so if you ever end up replacing them again you wont be short of choices.
More common on a Minor is Ford PCD (4 x 4.25" aka 4 x 108mm) partly due to using Ford front disk kits and partly from using escort rear axles. For those with Ford PCD, theres a lot of choice of wheels as there's a lot of Ford customisers, and Ford running gear on kit cars etc.. also the Ford PCD is common with many Peugeots.

I was due to return the wheels to the suppliers to measure and once the error of the incorrect wheels being supplied had been proven then for the wheels to be exchanged for the correct fitment

it's not slander or libel if it's the truth
and if it's stated in the T&C's it's there for a good reason.

Referring back to my previous post - the supplier could easily be an innocent party that was miss-supplied by the distributor/manufacturer. Steve's first point of recourse is via his supplier, and as there now appears to be dialogue I hope this is/was resolved.

Steve has deleted his original comment so I can't see anything further to add.
