An 1951 MM LHD, stripped, with a minimum on rust

Now I have 2 engines, one of them should be leaking inside, the other one was removed from a running car years ago.
Both engine numbers are from 1951, when the engine number is the same as the chassis number..

But now the question: what is the original color from the engine?
The later one is green, the older one is Grey (or was, there is not a lot of paint anymore)[frame][/frame]

Next step should be, the front, the radiator support does not have the correct position, he is 2 cm gone to the right..

Because the wings does not fit perfect, it looks like the nose is not only mover to the side, but also 1 cm down, I like to prepare before I am going to pull with a lot of force.

Does someone has a list of measurement points for the front?
The workshop manual, does not have this list, and in my Toyota time, I had a special body guide with all the measurement points from the car, complete with welding instructions.

Is this type of book also available for the Morris Minor?

Or do I go to a straight car, and measure all the points from "as is" ?

I have workshop manual for Minor (series MM, II and 1000), made by British Leyland Corp (blue covers). there is an alignment diagram for series MM. I can scan it for you if you need one?

Today one day without colleagues on the phone, so I made some steps..
The backside is ready, floor is ready, only the front should be pulled.

This morning I started with a basic paint for all the parts, when I do not work, I do not like to have blank steel
2K basic Grey for all the parts, when I have more time, the front wings should made ready.[frame][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame]
Maybe when I have time this summer, he can get the original black color, the paint is there, only the time machine does not start

I had to go to California for my job, my wife could go with me..
A combination from work and holiday.
Now back home, saw a lot of old cars there, but not a single MM....
Only an old Volkswagen, near by the Golden gate bridge.

Another busy time, this weekend I mounted the MM on a roll over frame, to work on the bottom side.
Spend October far from home again, one week Russia, 3 weeks California, so no time for my project...

But yesterday a start to make another step: the bottom side.[frame][/frame][frame][/frame]No big problems there..

[frame][/frame]An old repaired part, I will cut this out, to be sure from the inside.

Cleaned the bottom today, a little bit more rust than expected.[frame][/frame]

the inside from the old repaired part removed, cleaned, but inside it does not have a big problem.
Only the old weldings were bad.[frame][/frame]

first replace the chassis parts, then I need to set the nose back om position.
Only the parts of the engine floor are not the right types, newer ones have 4 holes in it....[frame][/frame]

The modern one is straight now, the only problem is how to change the RH chassis leg, without removing the engine.
It is a Prius, so removing the engine means also take off the high voltage components.
Maybe there is just enough space to weld ;)

The prius is ready now, but first put a new (heated) floor in the empty garage...[frame][/frame]

Tomorrow the concrete in it, then wait a few days, and bring the morris back on a warm place ;)

In the mean time, I have to look for a pair of front airbags for the prius, and a Grey front bumper without damage.

Yep, but I build the garage as part of the home, with high isolated windows, walls and roof
And when you build by yourself, more things are important, as when you buy a ready home...[frame][/frame]
Looks better now, the floor is ready in a few hours.
I do not know how this is in English, Google says "flitted concrete" to make it flat.
