Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get one of these rubber end covers for the positive lead (pictured below) where it connects to the starter solenoid? Mine is on it's last legs and I can't find this type of cover anywhere.
Many thanks.

Pah - mine is tons worse than that! Mine is on the opposite terminal to yours I think also.
Are they really needed? Is it there to stop you accidentally shorting out the solenoid?
Indeed, they look like the type of thing I'm after.
Many thanks.
Mike.

Hi,
Went for the Holden Vintage ones in the end as they are made of a thicker rubber than the ones on eBay. Definitely an improvement.
(Link to the ones I chose below.)
Best wishes,
Mike.

Looks to be the same type as I got from Holden, always good to have more options, hopefully others in need will find the links of use.
But I've got mine already now though, so for me it's a bit like buses.....................................
Just goes to show that I should of asked on here in the first place.
Best wishes,
Mike.
