vinyl trim

Post by fillpoke »

Wonder if anyone could tell me where I could buy some vinyl to trim the side panels of my traveller. The car itself
is trafalgar blue and the vinyl is a very dark midnight blue. I've tried to source this locally but without any success. I rang Newton commercial but they will only sell ready trimmed panels. Any help greatly appreciated

As long as it isn't two-tone try your local upholstery place and make them yourself. It will also save you a lot of money. Even if they are two-tone it's nothing adroit operation of a sewing machine can't do.

http://www.martrim.co.uk and http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk are other sources you might care to try.

I am about to tackle that job myself, the panels are distorted. I have fitted the new floor material and covered it with a contoured rubber mat to protect it from the tool box, lawn mower, garden rubbish etc and when I can get the seat back bolts to screw back on then I will move on to the side panels. That will just leave the head lining

You could try ebay, sellers tend to sell it in smaller quantitys to save on postage.
