Battery Box

Post by redduster »

The area surrounding the battery on our Traveller is scruffy rather than damaged or corroded.
Has anybody experience of the pastic boxes available and if so what are the good points and limitations?
Thanks

Why not clean it up and paint? Better than hiding it to get worse. A tray to sit the battery in is handy to contain any possible spillage.

I like to use a piece of an old inner tube under the battery for a catchall. I cut the tube so it sticks up about 2-3 inches all the way around. Been using this method for many years on various vehicles and it works well.
