toyota 5 speed box

Post by lionellength »

Can anyone recommend a garage for fitting this box to a 1275 engine. All the parts are there (it is a Frontline kit) but I need a knowlegeable garage who will do the work properly at a reasonable price. Location London or within 50 miles of North London. Thanks

Try Minor Mania in Mill Hill, London NW7, they do all sorts of modifications, 1275cc & Fiat twin cam conversions, disc brakes ect.

Hi again
I recently spoke to Alex from Minor Mania (he is a member of Herts Branch ) and he said they would be able to sort out your Toyota Kit without to much notice to fit it in, did the labour charge seem a bit high (£40.00 an hour last time I asked) but that is to be expected with the commercial rates in that part of London, or have you found somewhere more suitable.
Cheers

Thanks for the tips, I'm getting the box on Wednesday and may try an MG garage in Chelmsford, I'll let you know the results.
