Removal of silencer?

Post by Lewisd »

Was wondering if anyone has ever removed the exhaust silencer (standard bore exhaust)?
The best thing I can think of doing is getting a couple of these exhaust adaptors (http://www.minimania.com/part/991%2D739 ... -125-To-15)
Then fitting a slightly larger bore pipe in place of the silencer.
Good idea? not trying to make my car quicker or anything just though it would sound "Cooler"

Cheers,
Lewis

It will be stupidly loud and will attract cops to you like wasps round jam. Don't do it.

Fair enough wasn't sure how loud it would be :/ although it cant possibly be any louder than some of the exhausts you hear boy racers with :o
