According to the wiring diagram I am looking at they should go to the dynamo. If you check with a multimeter the come from connections D+F on the control box.

Obviously (I thought) - they are the coil wires! And NOT yellow...... One will be white - the other white/black stripe.

Looks like quite an early car? Later ones had brown/yellow and brown/green wires to the dynamo, but earlier ones were yellow and yellow/green, so:

Plain yellow goes to the larger connection on the dynamo - the other end is connected to the 'D' terminal on the control box.
Yellow with green stripe goes to the smaller connection on the dynamo - the other end is connected to the 'F' terminal on the control box.
Plain white goes to the SW or '-' connection on the coil (assuming still positive earth?) - the other end goes to the ignition switch.

From the coil to distributor is a short lead and is white with black stripe.

I believe it is a transitional minor from late '62.

Thanks for the help everyone. Reason i asked is because i bought a new dizzie and coil.

Here is where the wires come from if this helps. It is indeed still positive earth.

I couldnt find the white wire with the black stripe though. I may just be blind.[frame]Image[/frame]

The white/black wire is not part of the loom (I believe?), it is a separate wire going directly from the coil CB or '+' terminal to the distributor points connection.

It should (would have originally) run through a little local loom along with the white wire......
