Traveller rear indicator has stopped working :(

Post by Sparticus »

Help...

My drivers rear indicator seems to have stopped working?! I have replaced the bulb but nothing. I took the unit out and all the wires seemed fine and connected. There was a weird greasy substance in the actual light fitting but other than that nothing out of the ordinary.

Any ideas almighty council? :D

Bad earth most likely.

Probably needs a new bulb holder - very inexpensive -assuming power is actually getting to the light? And yes - it then needs a good earth back to the common earth point.

As the light assembly is fitted in the wooden pillar it needs a good earth lead back to the bumper mounting stud fixing bolt
