OK so the update you've all been waiting for; (Or not as the case may be.)
After blasting there were of course a few minor (pun not intended) issues that needed attention, This was completed and the shell was then handed over to the paintshop, however various day to day jobs have taken priority and after about a year of non activity it finally came back to me a few weeks ago with all filler work complete, the undersides coated with a modern stoneguard and primed and guide coated, ready for final mock up before paint.
So we're we're now moving forwards at a pace, I've started on the chassis building stuff back up again, rear axle, brakes, springs etc, and such like.

Then followed the big mock up, cab, rear buck, cab back, doors, wings bonnet front panel and front bumper were all fitted, removed, tweaked, refitted, adjusted and readjusted until I was reasonably happy with the gaps. Please note that the following pictures don't necessarily show final gaps.

The whole lot was then broken down again, and the big paint is in progress. Starting with the cab which got a final rub down and prep before being painted inside, outside and underneath, along with the front inner and outer panels.

When I left work Friday the rear buck (which had already been top coated underneath) was being painted on top and inside, along with the cab back. Another large order of bits and bobs including lots of new fasteners has gone into ESM, so hopefully that will arrive early next week and reconstruction can continue at a pace.
