Hello all,
Sorry, non-Moggie related. My dad has a Seat Leon Mk1 which has just stopped engaging reverse. All over gears engage fine. If you put it in reverse it moves forward. Any ideas? Is there a common cause of this problem? That'd be convenient!

Re: Non Morris Clutch issue
Thanks for the link. My first guess was a gear selected issue but that's as far as I got.

Re: Non Morris Clutch issue
Isn't it the same floorpan/running gear as a Golf?
You could look on Golf forums and see if it's an issue with them too.
If you can see the linkage in action you can probably work out which one needs adjusting, see what it takes to select reverse at the gearbox itself.

Re: Non Morris Clutch issue
is it a tdi or petrol??
its the same running gear as a golf mk4. ive driven a few high mile leons where the gear lever is stiff. its common for the golf 6 speed box to fail on 6th gear. but im guessing you have the 5 speed box?
