Good question samuria - hadn't noticed it had disappeared until you mentioned it.

The thread was removed as the initial posting breached the site's terms and conditions. The poster has been informed.

Re: ?????????????????????????
Stepside's 'Jimmy' thread has gone too... but I can understand that.

Re: ?????????????????????????
I'd prefer a separate section that would inform us of the title of deleted threads/posts and reason, rather than them go missing when no one's looking.

Re: ?????????????????????????
Agree completely. It's rather Orwellian don't you think, things disappearing without trace because they don't conform?

Re: ?????????????????????????
That must be the thread I've been looking for. Can't we have an over 18s section?

Once kids get to school they sadly loose all protection, 'Catcher in the rye' has a passage about that. Wanting to erase all the F--- you's off the toilet walls before his young sister saw it but realising it was not possible.

This "issue" has gone to comittee level and is under discussion.
By signing up and posting here you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the site, if you don't comply (and one of us mods/admin notice or someone complains!) it will get deleted. If you repeatedly post the same/similar things in breach of the T&Cs they will also get deleted and there is a potential for the poster to get banned.
This is partially to protect the MMOC against legal action from 3rd parties who do not agree with what is posted here.
If your post does not comply with the T&Cs please do not post them.
In this case the posts in question broached these T&Cs

Re: ?????????????????????????
I think were all pretty clued up on the these 'cover your back' quotes but you're bound to get folk pushing the boundary. I think the main gripe is, well from my point of view, the fact that posts just 'disappear' with no replacement post informing of deletion. Sometimes the 'dodgy' post will contain some information or data that people might want to refer back to. I did on one occasion and trawled through all the forum to no avail, until some discussion elsewhere alerted me to the deletion. The insertion of a simple 'deleted because-------' would surely be possible. Or better still simply delete the parts of the post that the mods don't like.

the 2 people in this had never met, yet one had belittled a house bound person on a site that stems from this club
surely the aggrieved person had a point to tell us on here..... so we all know what kind of person or persons we are dealing with???????

Re: ?????????????????????????
You are arguing with the wrong people. The mods are just here to ensure posts remain within the T&C's. They are not the organ grinders.

I notice that my posting has been deleted. I thought that it was amusing rather than offensive. Still 27 people were in time to enjoy it.
