Take a look at similar cars on Ebay, this should give you some idea. Then balance this with what you paid for it.
Don't pitch it too high as someone will have to pay to trailer it away.
i think i might keep it on the drive for a week or two its nice to own a minor even if it will not be used i really want one now its getting under my skin
To be honest, I am slightly curious as to why you bought this, as I'm making the assumption that you saw before buying, what you subsequently saw when you got it home?
thats why I asked,how it was listed.runner or not,and was the price fair.If he's selling it on, he obviously dosn't want to say how much he paid,just wondering if he was ripped off via E bay.

Next time, wait for a dry day, leave the kids at home and don't look at the number plate! On a more serious note,I don't know how you're fixed for space and equipment etc but do you think if you tackled it methodically you might be able to make something of it, I presume you wanted something to restore, granted perhaps not as bad, so maybe after the initial shock it could be worth thinking about. Sometimes a car with less rust in a panel still might need another panel fitted in which case the said panel might as well be full of rust.
i can weld iam an engineer i work in the aerospace industry i build machines i know what your saying but its a bit too far gone have to start at the transmision tunnel and work out idd rather a better project to start with i just need some more cash probably have to wait to grt christmas out off the way now and rethink in the new year ,
