Fan/ Water Pump

I have a couple of questions on the cooling system. I have just bought a fan blade off ESM and notice that they are out of stock of the stiffener. Anyone got any ideas where I can acquire one of these? Also, I'm reconditioning the water pump and would like to paint it yellow to match the blade. Any ideas what the paint code/colour is called? I.e. BMC yellow!?

Water pump should be green. Certainly not yellow!

Try Halfords Yellow or Road Paint Yellow. There were only colour codes for the cars, not fan blades.
In my opinion the water pump would look better engine colour, not fan blade colour

Like the others have said- water pump 'should' be green. I've just replaced the original water pump on my 1968 saloon and that was engine-green.

Thanks will be painting it green now! Anyone know where I can get my hands on a fan blade stiffener plate? I think they're out of stock on esm and bullmotif. I just bought a new fan blade, but I'm not sure whether it's safe to fit it without the stiffener.

Stiffener is available from Moss Europe, Part No. 2A803.

It is NOT safe without the stiffener.
