The auto engine is even different from the manual engine. You can use cam/rods + pistons/head. Not much more than that! Auto engine (and box) should sell well......

I've bought a couple of auto engines and boxes and they are cheap compared with the manuals because no-one wants them! I think the most I have paid is about £70 for a complete running, 27,000 (or possibly 43,000) mile engine & box

Nobody wants them UNTIL their auto box fails !! These boxes are in short supply and horrendously expensive to repair.
