My Pick up BMF finally drives

Well finally BMF my Austin 1970 pick drives, its been some time since it rolled but now it drives and stops, its equipped with a 1275cc Midget motor, gearbox & dif[frame]Image[/frame]



Midget has provided the disc brakes with a new remote servo, it goes well in reverse too[frame]Image[/frame]

Did it pass its MOT Russ? :lol: No seriously it's always good to hear the engine firing up and moving under it own steam. What colour are you going for?

its all painted on the inside its Titian Beige an old BMC Mini colour, bonnet cab, engine bay and doors![frame]Image[/frame]

That's a nice colour and an unusual choice too. It looks very similiar to Savannah Beige on my old VW Camper. A really good retro colour in my opinion. Have you got a colour scheme for the tilt? My van is Willow Green (a Mini colour) and my pick up is Teal Blue. Look forward to seeing the ongoing progress.

Tilt I have 2, a new beige tilt and a restored original but I have coloured in chocolate brown................so that may look good in the cab is black leather seats and red belts and red carpets with black door panels with a red and black steering wheel

Engine bay and truck looks really smart! What have you used to replace the fuse block / dynamo thingy ma bobby?

its a large fuse box with an insulated back plate that's all as the car has an alternator
