Plenty of kits on Ebay, try a search for Nickel plating kit.
Maybe someone here has experience of doing it?

I nickel plated some forks from a 1940s racing bike (old bikes are my other obsession) a couple of years ago.

Set up a tank at work, think it was nickel bromide with a bit of nickel sheet as the anode. Worked a treat, not quite a shiny as chrome but is still bright after a few years of all-weather use.

I'm sure that the kits you can buy will do the job just fine. Make sure the part you are playing is extremely clean before beginning.

A company called Frost sell them over here:

I think that they will ship out of the UK, but you would have to check for charges and customs regulations etc. There might also be cheaper kits available locally. I used one of the frost kits on some bicycle parts, and it worked very well.
