Hello All
Even though I have been a member since March this is the first time I havestarted a thread.
A couple of years ago I inherited a 63/64 4 Door minor Saloon luxury (I believe). It was a non starter and had spent its life in a garage and last taxed in 1967. The interior is immaculate with red and white/cream leather andred carpet but the body needs a bit of work pulling a couple of small dents and maybe a full respray in the original black and the chrome has definitely seen better days.
Within the last 2 years I have worked on the car, when I could as itwas in Anglesey and I live in Birmingham but managed to get her running again and she is now nearing the time for a mot.
I also had to get it re registered as all the paperwork was lost butthe wonderful people from MMOC (Sandy and Rob) helped me get it re registeredon the original plates.
Now here is the part where I am conflicted. She has only done 2600 miles! And ratherthan making modifications to the car I’m thinking I should restore her as original and get it valued then maybe sell it on for a minor pickup that I could make my own and maybe hotrod. I have the feeling that this car is something that shouldn’t be… bastardised (for want of a better word) and that someone else that would love it in its original condition and would appreciate it more than me.
At current I am looking for advice and any information I can get about its worth or if I could get it valued?
The car is now with me in the midlands and I will add some pictures this weekend
Also when clearing out the garage where the car was kept I have virtually filled a wooden chest with spares, some have seen better days also and these also include door glass and front and rear windscreens if anyone needs them please let me know and I’m sure we can work something out.
Hoping to here from you soon
Piers

Very tough call, in good fettle it's a very usable car, but in this case I think the temptation to hot-rod should be resisted.
If you can't resist, sell it for what it is, and get a run of the mill car to have your way with.

Welcome to the messageboard.
As it has the duo tone interior probably a deluxe model.
Best to list these separately in the 'for sale' forum to attract more potential buyers. Post up some photos of what you have and the price you want for them.

There are a few Birmingham branch members on here so they may be able to advise - there may be someone in the branch who could value it for you.At current I am looking for advice and any information I can get about its worth or if I could get it valued?
