Lost keys

Post by Debbi »

Hi,
I have managed to loose my Morris Minor keys. I noticed on past posts that sometimes other Morris Minor keys may work. Is there anyone with a Morris who lives in the Holmfirth area willing to help?

Thanks
Debbi

Hopefully someone locally will be able to assist Debbi, but before anyone further afield jumps in on this thread, can we please avoid telling how to resolve this in a public forum! Thanks.

Hi
Thank you to those who responded openly and privately.

Apologies if I have upset people’s sensibilities over my posting about lost keys. However, I would like to point out that as I said in my original posting, I found out the information about Morris Minor keys from an open forum of the Morris Minor Club; this is information which anyone with any information literacy skills could find very easily. http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f= ... 25&start=0
I just wanted some help from a so called friendly club and not to be made to feel like a child, I will not be posting again.

Oh dear - toys out the pram already! Did you get some help with keys? Unfortunately it's not uncommon for Minors to be stolen and trashed, simply because they don't have the in-built security of more modern cars. I'm sure you wouldn't want that to happen to your car. So we try to keep security matters away from the public gaze..... Don't hesitate to come back on the forum when you need some help with your car - we are a friendly bunch really.. :D

Yes, I deleted the thread (which was over 2 years old) as soon as Debbi flagged it up. Usually members bring such postings to the attention of the mods pretty quickly but it seems that this one slipped through so thanks Debbi for pointing it out.
