Hi, I have been an MMOC member for years but this is the first time I've used the website. My lovely Dad bought me my 1966 Traveller when I went to University in 1993. It was love at first sight and I called her 'Aunty'. She was my car, used daily for many years, until I became pregnant in 2006 when I started using my husbands car for everyday driving, and this continued after the baby (and her subsequent sister) was born. Aunty was moved back to live at my parents' house as they had off road space, and was driven occasionally, but I'm ashamed to say she has been sadly neglected for a good few years now.
Here are some details:
1966 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller. The engine was reconditioned in 2006 and converted to unleaded, and new clutch fitted at the time. Has done about 1000 miles since. Most recent parts replaced include a new fuel pump and flasher unit.
However, it does now need a fair amount of welding of sills and floor to make it roadworthy again. The wood seems reasonable, but does need sanding down and varnishing. Interior requires tlc.
It is currently on a SORN (untaxed) and would need to be trailered away.
My family have been on at me to sell her for well over a year, but I have been resistant up to this point as I am very attached (as I'm sure many of you will understand). Unfortunately, whilst I love driving classic cars, I do not have the time or skill to do any restoration work myself (or inclination - it's just not my thing) and my father is no longer able to manage the level of restoration required.
What I would really like is for someone who loves tinkering with Travellers to take it and enjoy restoring it to its former glory and then let me have it back! I think it is either that, or selling her for good, as I can't justify spending the money to send her to a garage for full restoration, and it's not going to improve the car's condition to leave her sitting at my parents house for much longer. If there is anyone out there who would like to discuss this further or can offer some advice, please let me know. Photos can be provided. Car is currently in SE London. Thank you!

I'm in SE London if anyone wants another set of eyes/pictures on the car.
