screws?

my car is full of different size screws and i wanted to put new screws and cup washers in for things like the back cards and stuff. so got pozi headed self tapping screws and cup washers. the screws work fine but they sort of slide about in the cup washer. are there special screws for using in cup washers? anybody post me a link to help me. the pozi ones are sort offlat under the head hence the fact they slide about and dont sit right. help!
