Bought a pair of driving lamps today at a classic car meet and when I got them home the price labels on the lamp glasses hid cracks on both units!

Tried to source new lens units for the lamps without success, Slung them both in the bin in disgust.
On a brighter note a starting handle of unknown origin cost me £2 from another seller and guess what.........
IT FITS !!!

I heard of someone buying some 'new' Castrol Classic 20/50 at a bargain price at autojumble... the several tins he bought, upon opening, contained oil filthier than that which he drained from the sump.

My dog chewed the wheels off my Corgi GPO Engineers Van. I found a new replacement for £5 so I spent an extra £4 on a roof up Corgi Minor Convertible
