Hi,
I work for a company called DS Motorsport and we are currently in the process of completely restoring a Morris Minor Pickup to be used as a show car. When we initially started to disassemble the car, we found that the fuel tank was basically a 'jerry can' on its side so a new one had to be ordered. The problem is, we are having trouble finding where to place the new fuel tank and how to mount it in a way that looks original. Does anyone have any tips, photos or ideas that could help?
This is the first Morris that we have restored and so could really use the help on this one.
Thanks
Leigh

I hadn't noticed it before but the front U section tank support bar goes on top of the chassis brackets not underneath, there is a tubular spacer that goes between, approx 9/16'' long, one on each side.
