Re: Undersealant
Many threads on this one. Firstly you must clean the underside thoroughly with a jet wash or similar, then scrape off all loose underseal/flaking paint. Wire brush any rust and apply Kurust. Paint over with a weatherproof paint, give several coats.
Most owners just spray waxoyl underneath every year and in cavities, box sections, inside doors etc.
Don't apply anyhthing too thickly and I would avoid bituminous paints.
Ensure all chassis drain holes are clear - structures rust from the inside out.

Hi,
This is what I use, there are other products on the market, you pays your money you makes your choice

As Jowett says though preparation is key, you cant expect the underseal/wax to just cover the rust and existing road grime and then forget about it. I spent most of a day cleaning all the road grime from the inside of the wheel arches and under the car.
When I apply mine rather than thin it with white spirit I put it in the airing cupboard for a few days before use to warm it up before use.
Make sure when you do it you get behind the door pillars,B post, C post, take off the kick plates and do inside the sills and boxing plate, inside the chassis legs, rear spring hangers and also the cross member under the rear seat as under there are the inside of the front spring hangers. Plus the seam there is where the rear floor rots.
