Traveller--- Heated Rear Windows

Post by Andysdad »

Hi,
I am going to replace the timber on my traveller and I was thinking of fitting the heated rear windows that are available. While I am about it.However they are not cheap and I wondered what opinions anyone has about them.
What do you think, worth it or not.
The car is garaged but I've not owned it over a winter.

Cheers

They do make a difference. Will clear the mist from the inside, but do not clear rain and muck from outside. They take about 5-6 minutes to get up to temperature (we have them on two Travellers, both the same; the saloon version is quicker). They can be done afterwards if you want to save money for now. If on a limited budget then I would say that the heated front screen gives a much better improvement and makes life easier. The rear ones are worth doing, but I would do them second.

Thanks very much for the info. It does seem to be worthwhile. I note that I could do this afterwards so that does give me options.

Thanks again
