Roof Rack

Hi all,
I am not new on here but I have had to re register due to a computer(mine) fault. Also I wasn't sure which section to put this in so I hope the right person/people see it.
There is a roof rack on Ebay that is off a saloon. Ebay number 180936479399 Does anyone know if this will fit on a traveller. I am thinking about the curve of the roof on a saloon.
What do you think?

You need to appreciate that the Trav roof is made of thin gauge aluminium - not steel like the Saloon. So it has EXTREMELY limited carrying capacity. Here's the link - I would NOT fit that to my Trav.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180936479399? ... 26_rdc%3D1

The guttering to which the roof rack is normally clamped is only tacked on to the roof, so unless you want to see the roof rack and its contents through the rear view mirror as it disappears down the motorway do not fit one, unless you can fit it only to the cab roof

HI dON:T Fit a roof rack it cracked all the paint work on my roof now needs taking back to bare metal and resprey!

Thank you guys for your comments, although it was not the answer I was hoping for, it's refreshing to get such a definitive response.
My problem is that I am selling my little van which I used very occasionally to transport my ladders. I will have to think of something else, I wonder if I could strap them to the wife's back!!!!

Maybe you could custom build a ladder rack with the front section clamped to the cab roof and the rear section bolted down to the rear posts. Or that could be a silly idea

Fit a tow-bar - get a small trailer with an "H" bar fitted to the front. Ladders in trailer angled up over Traveller roof and strapped to bar without harming Traveller roof? Fitting a tow-bar will do far less damage to the car than a roof rack fitted to it's roof.

I have also had to re-gutter my Traveller as someone in the past had a roof rack fitted that had damaged the gutters!
