Hi, just got my first Minor. Does anyone know how I can positively tell if it has been converted to use unleaded petrol? I'm using additive for now to be on the safe side.
Thanks
How do I know it's an unleaded head?

If the car did not come with proof that the head has been done, the only way is to remove the head and pop a valve and have a look at the seat where you can see if the hardened seat has been fitted, on some heads it is just possible to see the insert without the removing a valve but dont rely on it.

I am with you there I always take that to mean no, if you had paid to have it done I think you would remember the bill even if you lost it.If they give the "I'm not sure but I think so" answer
