Top trunnion

Post by dalgrae »

As my other post about my suspension strip out and having read my workshop manual ref section K it talks about modifications , one being a new vent hole to the top trunnion and producing a V shaped groove in the thread to aid lubrication I assume. My trunnion does not have these features are they still a valid mod to do that I can carry out or not .

Any mods were a long long time ago.....I imagine your car will already incorporate these features.

No they do not ,the top trunnion is a solid thread the manual also shows a vent hole driiled near the top lip at an angle the top trunnion to kingpin does not have any wear in it so will be refitted and as it is in bits now would be the time to carry out any mods
