Suspension noise ?

Post by dalgrae »

As I only use my car occasionally when the weather is fine it can sit in the garage for a couple of weeks between being driven as I pull out of the garage with the steering on right lock my garage floor has a slight concrete bump in it to stop water getting in . I go over this bump at 1 to 2 mph but every time I do this I hear a noise like a crack , after this I do not hear this noise again , my car has recently passed an MOT only 500 miles since , it also does not produce this noise when I reverse back over the bump in the garage floor when I put my car away . Every part of the suspension is fully greased

Any ideas please

You have almost exactly described my Minor use - and garage ! Is the crack when the rear wheels cross the ridge - or the fronts?

Definately the front , I have renewed both track rod ends and also the steering tie rods and buffers prior to the MOT
