Hello Samuria,

RS components sell stainless steel mesh in a variety of patterns, with a guide to the percentage open area. http://uk.rs-online.com/web/c/workshop- ... 4294958073

I used the hexagon pattern (No 4 down), which has the most open area of all the patterns.

I used to buy all my stainless mesh (from grill size to very mesh) from a place in keighley. However I can not remember the name........... Keighley stainless steel mesh into Google and this is the place http://www.bethelrhodes.co.uk/products.html They used to have an off cuts pile which was useful for smaller quantities.

Try your local pet shop or specialist bird dealer, ask for SS aviary mesh, it comes in many sizes and specs.
