bad vibrations

Post by steve c »

hi, ever since i have rebuilt my car ( four months ago ) i have had a bad case of chassis/body vibrations on the left side of the car, only happened at about thirty mph and above, i changed back to my original engine mounts, changed the gearbox mounts, stripped the door down( three times) and checked/tightened evey thing, now taken off the passenger door kick plate, and HEY PRESTO no vibrations, it was not due to loose bolts etc, but it was to tight a fit between the A and B post, so ive cut an 8th"off the front, refitted and i can now hear myself think above 30mph, after pulling my hair out all this time, a RESULT!!! happy regards steve
