MGB rear dampers

Post by bmcecosse »

Has anyone fitted these to the rear of a Minor? I thought they were a straight bolt-on job - but having picked up a pair - this doesn't seem to be the case. Usefully larger dampers - but going to need some work to make them fit.......... :D

The difficulty is - larger pitch of fixing bolts, shorter operating arm, larger taper hole in the arm and the operating arm is straight - not cranked as per the Minor. Other than that - straightforward! But usefully larger dampers - and nice firm action with the valving now uprated and the oil renewed with something more 'suitable'....... :D
