regulator box

Post by horrace »

I have just bought 2 X 1000 saloons, one is worthy of repair one isnt (anyone interested in a nice non messed about 1000 that would be a failry easy resto let me know, in east sussex). anyway ive got one engine going but the other one has no regulator box, will it run without or do i need to do some connecting? i only want to get it running to see what its like and if the gearbox is ok.
thanks

Depends what wires are dangling - but join the A and A1 wires - and put a bit of tape round all the others - individually - not all together !
