rear dampers
hi all , just changed the oil in my front dampers and now want to do the rear ones . Anything to look out for or is as straight forward as the front ones

Re: rear dampers
It's just the same operation - but you need to get the damper vertical - one already is - the other is at an angle - so probably best to remove it and work at it on the bench.

How did you get on with the fronts? in a previous post you said had trouble getting the oil out?
As Roy says, best to remove them and keep them upright. When you put them back assuming they dont leak
assemble them with some copper slip and check the rubber bushes and the tapered stub mounting to the damper arm for signs of wear.

Hi tricky. I sucked all I could with my draper electric pump and topped up with sae40 . Gave it a good run over the speed bumps and topped up again gave it another run tonight and it took quite a few squirts again . Damping is now excellent
