Speeedometer

Hello,

i am Klaus and i come from Bavaria.
So please excuse my english, it`s not very well.
I have a problem, i need a new Speedometer for a Morris minor 2 Door Saloon 1954. No middlespeedo. Where can i get one, or is it possible to repair? Also i am looking for a Splitscreen Window. Where, how and how expencive?

Hi, Check at www.mosseurope.co.uk - I believe the series two speedometer is listed at £57 plus vat and postage.
If not I will ask around and see if any of my colleagues has a spare.
How much did you wish to spend?

Theese sites i had. But there is no Speedometer for an old Morris Minor "1954" for sale. I wrote some Mails and hope i get one.
Only if here anybody knows something what could help me, please tell me.

If you change your speedo you need serial no X70620/7 (MPH) or X70620/3 (KPH) with a TPM (turns per mile) of 1000. These figures are printed on the dial. Do not get a 1600 TPM as that is for Series MMs with different diff ratio.
Second hand speedos are usually available at the national rally, you may have to buy the complete inst panel. If you can find someone going to the rally you may get them to buy it for you. Just remembered I have a spare Series 2 speedo.
