National rally: Northern Convoy!

Hello all,

First of all, thank you so much to all who have helped with my car over the past three months. Thanks to the dedication and help from various young members and the lovely Andy Reeder at Leeds Morris Minors, I have been able to continue to get to work safely and *touch wood* despite an oil leak, everything is alright-ish!

Myself plus three young members are intending to travel down to the national on the Friday from Leeds via Sheffield and we were wondering if there were any other members who wanted to join our convoy? Even though we're young, we won't be going above the dizzying heights of 55mph and would love to have others join us whether they're young members or not!

Anyway, let me know if you'd like to join us. Is anyone travelling from further north than Leeds?

yes a few of the scottish guys are travailing down on the friday hoping to set off from the borders around 7am
so we are not to late arriving on the campsite...

have no idea what time we will be passing Leeds but is the M6 the best way to come down ......

Okay, well I know it took me about 4 hours to get from Edinburgh to Leeds. We're planning to leave Leeds around 10am/11am. Do you fancy meeting en route? It was rubbish driving down alone last year!
