spark plug colour

Post by horrace »

Hi EVrybody!!!!
this is one of my spark plugs, it has a brownish tip but where threads start they are sooty, is this normal? or is it a bit rich? should the threads be brownyish as well?[frame]Image[/frame]

Looks absolutely perfect to me! The threads are not important re soot... make sure the electrode is gapped correctly.
