Brake Squieal
Hi Can i Have some advice please.
Iv put new brake shoes and drums on my morris (Victor).
And being very light on the brakes to start with. And they are on the right way round.
And adjusted properly. And are working fine BUT i im still getting a Squeal from the drivers side front brake.
Is this Because they have not bedded in Properly??
Thanks Tomas

Iv tried using them hard but the screeching just gets louder.
Took the drum off and everything seems in order.accept that the shoes are a little rounded where it picking up on the ends
and not much on the rest of the shoes.
Help!
Thanks Tomas

Take off the drum and with a metal file just file a little chamfer on the leading edge of the brake shoe linings.
I take it you used/ put some copperease on the moving metal parts ( NOT on the friction material ) when re-assembling the
brakes ?
Nothing exceptionally worn when you examined the cleaned up parts ?
Lets us know how it goes.
